The Fourfold Path

A four-chambered hourglass of glass under an undrawn source of light, turned end over end: the Fourfold Path of Emanation running down, and the same four registers running back up as the Fourfold Path of Return
Drag the glass downward to tip its top toward you and turn it end over end; on release it settles upright or inverted. With the figure focused, press Enter or Space to turn it over, or the Up and Down arrow keys to nudge it. The four chambers are named on the left as Ground, Determination, Mechanism and Actuality, the path of Emanation, and on the right as Return, Ascent, Opening and Initiation, the path of Return. Each pair sits at the same chamber: turned over, Initiation is where Actuality was. Hovering or focusing a name shows its definition.
