Plate VII
The Stacking of Lenses
The Truth is a Hidden Treasure and longs to be known.
"If any one of the lenses is misaligned, then all subsequent lenses lie in darkness."
A corona of hairline rays above four wobbling lenses stacked in depth
Drag any lens sideways with the pointer or touch to move it directly; dragging pauses the ambient wobble for every lens while you work. With the figure focused, press the Up or Down arrow key to select a lens — a faint reticle marks the current selection — then Left or Right to nudge it sideways. Release or stop, and after four seconds of no interaction the ambient wobble resumes from where it paused. Bringing all four lenses onto the central axis, by hand or by waiting for the ambient cycle, pours light down the whole stack and kindles a single gold line through their centers.
Fig. VIIa - light descends only as far as the first lens out of true; find it and rectify it, and the of the whole column follows — sees nothing else.
Darkness in this figure is never the Source withholding — the Source is not even drawn. It is a lens unrectified, and everything beneath it waits on that one correction. The work the plate asks for is not more light; it is finding where the column has come out of true.
